Christa McAuliffe Memorial Fund
Sharon Christa Corrigan McAuliffe (September 2, 1948 – January 28, 1986) was an American teacher from Concord, New Hampshire and was one of the seven crew members killed in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.
The RISD Council of PTAs Christa McAuliffe Memorial Fund allows for hospitality for Christa McAuliffe Learning Center staff and faculty-led PTAs.
The RISD Council of PTAs coordinates support for Christa McAuliffe Learning Center because of its always changing enrollment.
Monthly treats and tokens of appreciation are provided by other local units and coordinated by the Council Chair for Christa McAuliffe.

Emergency Medical Relief
Donations are made to the Emergency Medical Relief Fund by local units. To donate contact the RISD Council Treasurer.
This fund allows for the executive board to have available funds for emergency medical needs of the students of RISD.

Donations to the Local Unit Support Fund are made by local units.
Monies from this fund may be used for the following:
-To fund the Texas Summer Leadership Seminar Scholarships. To be considered for payment of the registration fee and possible reimbursement of related expenses.
-PTA leadership training
- Unifying and strengthening local PTAs
-Assistance in the formation of new local PTAs.
